Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Word Bust is a daily word puzzle game. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

Data we collect

Word Bust does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal information.

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers:

Advertising

Word Bust displays ads served by Google AdMob. To serve relevant ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, device information, and ad-interaction data. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy:

App Tracking Transparency: When you first open Word Bust, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt will ask whether you allow the app to use your advertising identifier for personalized ads. If you decline, AdMob will show non-personalized ads instead — the game works exactly the same either way. You can change this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Notifications

If you opt in, Word Bust sends a once-daily local reminder to play. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no notification server or push infrastructure is involved. You can turn them off at any time in the app's Settings or in your iPhone's Settings app.

Third-party services

The only third-party service used by Word Bust is Google AdMob. No analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are included beyond AdMob.

Children

Word Bust is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
