A daily word puzzle game for iPhone
Can I play more than once a day?
Each day has one puzzle. Once you finish it, the next one unlocks at midnight.
My streak reset — what happened?
Streaks require completing a puzzle each calendar day. Missing a day resets the streak to zero.
How do I turn off notifications?
Open the app, tap the settings icon in the top-right corner, and toggle off Daily reminder. You can also go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Word Bust.
How do I turn off sounds or haptics?
Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner of the game screen.
Does the app work offline?
Yes — the puzzle is generated on your device and the game works fully offline. Ads may not load without a connection, but the game itself is unaffected.
Why am I seeing ads?
Word Bust is free to play and supported by ads. A small banner ad appears at the bottom of the game screen. When you first open the app, you can choose whether to allow personalized ads using Apple's tracking prompt. Either way the game is the same.
Will deleting the app erase my progress?
Yes — your stats, streak, and puzzle history are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all of that data.
The app crashed or something looks wrong.
Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, please email us with a description of what happened and which iPhone model you are using.
